Project Nourish

Every third Sunday, our youth group leads Project Nourish, transforming community donations of pasta, proteins, and produce into vital meal kits for Irving students who lack access to food over the weekend. By bridging the gap between Friday’s school lunch and Monday’s breakfast, these young leaders ensure that no child in our community has to face the weekend hungry.

Project Nourish: Fueling Weekends

  • When: Every 3rd Sunday of the month.

  • The Mission: Providing dry goods like rice, mac and cheese, canned fruits, and proteins (beans/bars) to Irving ISD kids.

  • The Goal: Ensuring consistent nutrition for students after school on weekends.

If you prefer to provide financial support, please scan the QR code on our flyer or contact us to donate—every dollar helps us put healthy food in the hands of a child in need.

“Project Nourish project allows us to get an opportunity to directly help underprivileged children that are our age. Because of the Youth Group, we are able to get together every month and make food bags to donate to Irving ISD. It is very fulfilling, and also a great opportunity to bond with other members. Through leading the food packaging activity, I have gotten closer with other members, better at communicating/reaching out to outside organizations, as well as felt very grateful to give back to the community. I love helping out and I hope future Youth Group members continue this project for as long as possible!” : Arya Bohra
