In December, the Youth Group organized a card drive for seniors so that we could spread some holiday cheer to the seniors who might be without their families at this time. Each card was handmade with a small letter inside, and we got together to collect the cards and ate some snacks together. After that, a few of us went to Ashford Hall, a senior home, to drop off the letters. We didn’t expect we’d be able to actually meet the seniors, but we were pleasantly surprised that the management let us pass out the cards to the seniors directly. It was really nice to get to see the seniors and interact with them! I hope we get another opportunity to work with Ashford Hall again soon.
